They both brought out the best in each other. Carlos eventually convinced Missy to come work for him, not in public relations, but as a designer. With Missy’s professional experience along with her taste in designer clothes, Carlos knew she was the perfect person to provide the insight he was looking for into the world of women’s fashion. Missy provided Carlos with the practical knowledge of how to ground his flair for the extreme into designs women could work into their everyday wardrobe. The two became business partners, as well as husband and wife and went on to grow Carlos Falchi into one of the most celebrated accessory brands to date. In 1984 the couple gave birth to their first daughter, Kate.

After Carlos sadly passed away in 2015, Kate and Missy realized they still had a story to tell. The designers set out to create a collection that is less about a particular moment in time or season and more about pieces made to evolve with a woman through the many directions her personal style may take. Each collection maintains a sustainable approach by dropping a limited number of new products every month, to keep things fresh. Each handbag and piece of jewelry is designed by two women who have lived through every possible accessories trend and know better than anyone that investing in quality never goes out of style.
